This trip was my first time hiring a fixer and first time using Worldfixer; I couldn’t be happier. Jayine was courteous, fast and detailed in her responses. Helping me to find the right accommodation and scouting locations in advance (including a rooftop view which I would never have seen) On the shoot days Jayine & her assistant were brilliant, chatting with people to make them relaxed to have their photos taken and giving us background on the area. I couldn’t be happier with the project and genuinely think it wouldn’t be half the project if it hadn’t been for Jayine & Minh. Thank you so much. I would not hesitate to recommend Jayine for anyone looking to work in Seoul.
I would definitely recommend Jayine Chung! She was my fixer for four shoots in Korea this year and she did a fantastic job of putting everything together, often with very little notice given to her, including several last-minute schedule and location changes. Her attitude was always helpful and she went above and beyond the job description to ensure that the production was a success. She is a clear communicator and extremely responsive over e-mail. Working with her directly in the field was a pleasure. She is hands down the best fixer I’ve worked with during three years producing international shoots.
Jayine was great. Responsible, resourceful, reliable = triple Rs!

We worked with Jayine for a couple of days and we were very satisfied. She is very accurate, professional and effective. We had the impression that she´s very use to work with television which is a huge advantage for us.
I have just returned to Sweden after two weeks in South Korea.I and my photographer was recommended by a colleague at a Swedish newspaper to contact Jayine. He was very positive. And now I understand why. Jayine is always connected and you can reach her no matter where she is and when. She is very good at arranging meetings and visits in advance and an excellent translator. At the same time she is working well as a member of your team, alert and with a good sense of humor. A lucky choice.
I can confirm Jayine Chung worked with TRT World during our recent 10-day deployment to South Korea. We all agreed that Jayine is an excellent fixer and we were delighted with what she did for us. She made our entire deployment plain sailing because she had set up everything we needed before we arrived. Her organisational skills and attention to detail are excellent, and she clearly had a very good understanding of exactly what we needed. She is also very patient and pleasant to work with, as well as extremely knowledgeable. She is one of the best fixers we have worked with and we would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.
I had the pleasure of working with Jayine Chung between the 1st to the 11th of November of 2017. In terms of fixing, logistics, local knowledge and translation services my team and I were thoroughly impressed with her efficiency, diligence, professionalism and no nonsense approach. We were able to meet all our objectives a sa result of working with Jayine and I would not hesitate to recommend her to any newsgathering or media organisation in the future.

Working with Jayine was phenomenal. She was an excellent addition to the crew. Jayine understood the creative process entirely and knew exactly how to plan three steps ahead because of that. Her fluency in English and Korean also helped expedite EVERYTHING in our process. I'm excited to direct another piece in Korea someday and I know who I'm hiring as our fixer.
We worked with Jayine Chung on a very last minute, rush project. She was incredible to work with – she was resourceful, dependable and very professional. In every instance, she went above and beyond to ensure the project was handled with a very high level of efficiency and provided insights that enhanced the experience for our crew. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a fixer in the Seoul area – and wouldn’t hesitate in working with her on future projects.
Allies And Company
I worked with Jayine for 2 weeks in February/March 2018 on a long magazine package looking at South Korea's future national security strategy that involved arranging interviews with a range of former and current government officials, academics, analysts, polling experts, scientists, and defectors. Jayine was great! She is very resourceful and detail-oriented with a great network of local contacts. As a stranger in the country for the first time, I felt very well taken care of by Jayine. If I'm ever back again in Seoul for work, I will definitely want to use her again!
I did work with Jayine in January in Seoul and it was a great experience. She was really professional and very helpful. She made our lives so much easier, and as a result, the shoot went so much better with her there.
My cameraman and I worked with Jayine for a week in Seoul before heading to Pyeongchang for the Olympics. In short, Jayine was terrific. Extremely organized and a pleasure to work with. We’d definitely work with her again.
I have worked with Jayine when I have to film a customer reference video in Seoul. Jayine has been a great help to my project, not just onsite during the video shoot, but also pre-production and post production. Being effectively bilingual in Korean and English, she has helped to translate the interview questions prior to the shoot and also worked on the audio transcript’s translation. And during onsite, she helped to conduct all interviews in Korean and also helped to interpret/ communicate with the Korean customers for us.
It was such a pleasure working with Jayine! She 's so professional, helpful, resourceful, punctual, and she did a wonderful job of interpreting. She's also multi-lingual (she speaks not only English and Korean, but also Mandarin fluently!) and a multi-tasker (she helps to help photos and videos too). She replies to messages so quickly, and she ' s always able to anticipate my needs and get me what I want. She 's also a joy to talk to, sharing her own personal experience s and insights that helped me gain a better understanding of the subject matter. I'd definitely work with her again, and would recommend her to anyone looking for a good window to South Korea.

Jayine was a wonderful asset to our team while filming for 5 days in South Korea. As a director for House Hunters International, i work with an array of fixers all over the globe. I appreciate a fixer who anticipates needs, offers insight when prompted and can be flexible with the ever changing schedule demands. Jayine did all of that and more. I would happily work with her again and recommend her to others looking for a fixer in the area.
I have just recently worked with Jayine Chung this past November and I can’t recommend her enough! She is a hard worker, very on top of things, extremely accommodating, and has a great attitude. She also speaks both English and Korean perfectly, so she was a huge asset to our crew when communicating on our behalf.
I've worked with Jayine on a couple of projects this year and she's been absolutely great to work with! She's got extremely reasonable rates and really good connections with crew that produce good quality work. Great hospitality too! Always nice to have a friendship blossom out of something that started purely as a working relationship. I'd happily recommend her to anyone else thats looking to film in Seoul or anywhere else in Korea.
Across The Pond
I just got back from South Korea where we spent around 10 days working with Jayine as our fixer and local producer. She was great to work with, was able to organise everything we wanted (sometimes at short notice), and I also noted that she was very organised in her planning. She also helped us with translation work. I’d definitely work with her if I went back to South Korea, and would thoroughly recommend her as one of the best fixers/producers I’ve worked with.
